Category: Main

The Survey, which commenced in July 2006 and concluded in January 2007, indicate that Grenada has a total of 36,851 buildings, of which 25,468 were damaged by Hurricanes Ivan and Emily and 19,147 have since been repaired.

The Survey was conducted on a constituency basis, with 15 supervisors and 110 enumerators during the seven-month period. Simultaneous spot checks were conducted by ARD staff to ensure accuracy and transparency of the data.
